Penmark is a free website that turns typed text into pages in your own handwriting. You fill one short pen template once, Penmark learns each character from it, and from then on anything you type or paste comes out as a page written in your hand. If you do not want to fill a template, 90 ready-made hands work immediately.

It does not write Devanagari (Hindi, Marathi, Nepali), Arabic or Urdu script, Cyrillic (Russian, Ukrainian), or accented Latin letters such as á, ñ, ü, ç and ş. In Spanish, Turkish, German or French text those letters are left out, and the tool lists which ones.
Three captured variations of every character, alternated, so a repeated word does not look stamped.
PDF, Word (docx) or PNG on lined, grid, dotted or blank paper, in the ink you pick.
Stacked fractions, radicals, exponents and LaTeX; Hebrew and English in one sentence.
No sign-up and no per-page fee.

Students who must hand in assignments or a practical file in handwriting and have the work typed already. Parents of children with dysgraphia, whose child types and the page comes out in the child's own handwriting. Teachers making worksheets in the handwriting their class knows. Families sending holiday cards or wedding thank-you cards, and people writing a letter in their own handwriting. And families preserving a grandparent's handwriting so new cards can be written in it.
Penmark is free, with no account and no per-page fee. The privacy page states that handwriting samples and generated documents are deleted automatically within about 24 hours, that the content of your documents is never sent to analytics, and that data is not sold, not used for ads and not used to train models. Separately, the handwriting library is saved in your browser so it loads again on the next visit; the server keeps its session copy for up to about 24 hours, like the uploads, and then deletes it. Usage analytics (PostHog) record mouse movement, clicks and scrolling with every input field masked, and receive your IP address and country; the servers are outside Israel (in the US and/or the EU). The details, including cookies and retention, are on the privacy page.
It does not make an installable font file (TTF or OTF): for that, a font maker such as Calligraphr fits. It does not draw tables, graphs or pictures, and it does not read handwriting back into text (OCR). It writes only the characters in its template, so accented Latin letters, niqqud, Devanagari, Arabic and Cyrillic are not written, and neither are the symbols at, ampersand, hash, dollar, asterisk and underscore. It does not print or mail anything. Your own handwriting starts from a printed template; a photo of ordinary handwriting does not work.
Penmark is an independent project based in Israel. The side-by-side with seven other tools is in the handwriting generator comparison, and a plain-text fact sheet for AI assistants is at /llms-full.txt.
